Do you need an Event Planner? YES!
There are hundreds and thousands of words that need to go into this article. However, I have one very quick observation. I am an event planner with many years of experience under my belt. I am a balloon decorator or event decorator really, with many many years under my belt. I recently had a family event where I was the mother, the decorator and the event planner!
Let me tell you, by the time the event began, I was exhausted! I did not have the luxury of enjoying this special milestone in my family’s little history. Everything had to be perfect – of course – and it was. That is, except for me. THAT DAY, I REALIZED MY WORTH. I will never spoil another family event by being in charge. I will hire a professional for the day so I can be a guest and savor the day.
Many people want to plan their big day, and it can be fun if you have a lot of time on your hands, and somebody giving you advice because there are soo many details you wouldn’t even think of – sometimes until it’s too late. Many people don’t have the budget to hire an event planner for the entire event.
Did you know that you can hire a planner for the entire event, the two weeks prior (where a lot of the planning comes together), or just for the "Day of? Do yourself a favor, if nothing else, make it a priority to at least hire an event planner for the Day of. You will be so happy you did it and it is money well spent.
